Burke’s Outlet celebrates expansion with grand opening

Today’s a big day for Burke’s Outlet. The Bay St. Louis store will have a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. and kick off a four-day grand opening celebration of its expansion. Mayor Les Fillingame and Roy Zuppardo, owner of the shopping center, are expected to take part in the ribbon cutting.

Tisha Mallette, the store manager, said the expansion more than doubled the size of the store – from 10,000 to 21,000 square feet. “We have all new fixtures and lots of new brands,” she said.

The outlet store is known for its variety and bargain prices. “We have lots of name brands at really, really low prices,” Mallette said. “Our sales have increased over the last four years thanks to our loyal customers here.”

Burke’s customer know they can find deals on clothing, shoes, home items, housewares, domestics and accessories.

And starting at 9 a.m. this morning (Thursday) through Sunday, the first 150 shoppers will receive a free gift card. One lucky winner will receive a gift card worth $250.

Burke’s is open at 9 a.m. daily and 10 a.m. on Sunday. The address is 603 Highway 90, Suite 7A. The phone number is 228-466-9638.
