A ‘royal’ pop-up on Second Saturday

Bay businesswoman Kerrie Loya is bringing a bit of royalty to Second Saturday with a unique pop-up boutique featuring the “attainable luxury” collections of British designer India Hicks.

Kerrie is a new “ambassador” for the direct sales business created by London-born Hicks, a top model who was one of Princess Diana’s bridesmaids.

Saturday’s pop-up will be in the offices of Edward H Wikoff Architects at 144 Main Street from 4 to 7 p.m. Kerrie will have a full display of merchandise on hand. “It’s virtually the entire product line – fragrances, jewelry, accessories and purses. It’s a great opportunity to see how gorgeous and well made all the products are.”

India Hicks’ collections are sold exclusively at “get togethers” and the merchandise is delivered directly to customers.

Kerrie has had two private get togethers to gauge local interest and said the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.

“The attention to detail and quality of merchandise drew me to the line and everything is just beautiful, “ she said. “The price point for the quality, I believe, is truly unparalleled.”
