Your weekly building permit report

Last week, Hancock County’s Building Department issued five permits for a total value of $846,666 and fees of $3,350.

Three permits were residential: one pole barn and two new single family houses. One commercial permits was for the build-out for a Nationwide Insurance office in a strip mall at 16940 Kapalama Road. Value is $15,000 and fees are $236.

The other commercial permit was for replacing white sign panels with an LED message center at 7481 Highway 90. Owner is Mike Cure, contract is Lighting Quick Signs. The value is $420,141 and fees were $1,422.

In Bay St. Louis, the Building Department issued permits last week for four single family residences totaling $911,160 and fees totaling $5,365.
