The Hancock Chamber wants your nominations for outstanding citizens and business. You have until Friday, May 19, to send in your choices for recognition at the Chamber’s Business & Industry Awards Gala Aug. 24 at Hollywood Casino.

Anyone may nominate individuals and businesses to be considered for these awards. Visit the Chamber’s website www.hancockchamber.org or call 228-467-9048 for more info and to submit nominations.

Once all nominations are received, the qualified nominees for outstanding citizens and businesses will be presented to the Hancock Chamber members who will vote to select the winners for the business of the year for Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Diamondhead and Kiln/Hancock County. They will also vote to select the Citizen of the Year. The Industry Award of Excellence will be selected by the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission.

Each citizen and business recognized during the Gala will receive two complimentary tickets to the Gala, an award, and will be featured in promotional videos and publicity.

The awards gala is the largest business event in the county, attracting hundreds of business leaders, entrepreneurs, organizations and government officials.
