BSL Council meeting recap: Meet me under the clock

The Rotary Club is donating a town clock to Bay St. Louis. The decorative two-faced century clock will replace a light fixture in front of Hancock Bank on the beach at Main Street. The Rotarians have been working on the project for some time and will pay about $14,000 for the clock.  The city agreed to accept the donation pending county approval. Thank you, Rotarians.
In Planning & Zoning, the council approved all the applications recommended for approval by the P&Z commission, including the Court Street Station hotel-like 3-story development at the corner of South Beach and Court Street.
