For the week of Aug. 7-11, the Hancock County Building Department issued seven permits with total value of $224,782 and total fees of $1,267. All the permits were for residential projects: two porches, two carports, a single family home, a storage building and a metal shed.

The Bay St. Louis Building Department reported one permit over $20,000 from Aug. 1-11 and it was for a residential addition. Total value was $60,00 and fees were $394.
