New places to eat, eat some more and drink

Two new restaurants and a tavern got the nod to open from the state Health Department. Here are the details:

Pop’s Cajun Crawfish Boil at 2346 East Pass Road in Gulfport serves boiled crawfish, crabs and shrimp plus potatoes and corn. Cynthia Lee is the owners.

Also in Gulfport, Taste of St. Louis at 2605 25th Ave. cooks up a variety of dishes, from breakfast to BBQ. The menu features pancakes, eggs & grits, waffles, omelets, loaded nachos, chicken wings and drumettes, burgers, chicken Philly, turkey Philly, grilled chicken club, BLT, smothered pork chops, BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, smoked turkey leg, potato salad, baked beans and cream cheese pound cake.

Two Dogs Tavern at 19099 Pineville Road #108 in Long Beach serves beer and mixed drinks. Sandra Hendrick is the owner.
