BAY ST. LOUIS Benny Grunch and the Bunch were great fun last night at the Big Easy in the Bay event at the Depot to benefit Habitat Bay-Waveland. If you stayed around, you were lucky enough to hear surprise guest Michael Grimm perform with Rochelle Harper.

MichaelP and I hiked through the cemetery from Toulme to get to the Mockingbird this morning. Couldn’t even think about making the Friday-morning run to Al’s for bread and scones. I hope the cruisers are spending an absolute TON of money in our city, because the concessions to them are an irritation to my nether regions. Note, I am not in an evil mood, my friend. I just feel about Cruisin’ the way I do about Mardi Gras, which runs counter to that of the majority of residents. We’re taxpayers, too.
