The Hancock County Farmers Market will celebrate its first anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 6.

Come out to say hello to first responders from the Bay Police Department and Fire Department and meet the staff of Hancock Medical Center.  Bring the kids to see miniature ponies and goats in a corral, and shop among the vendors who have helped make the Farmers Market a success over the past year.

With the support of the Hancock County Board of Supervisors, the Farmers Market opened on Dec. 3, 2016, and since then, shoppers have enjoyed buying fresh local produce, plants, deliciously prepared food and hand-crafted items every Saturday morning.

Come by this special Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon to celebrate the year-old Hancock County Farmers Market as it begins a new year.
