The Hancock County Building Department issued four permits during the week of March 5-9. Total valuation was $248,881 and fees totaled $6,097.

Three permits were for residential projects: a new fence on Rocky Hill-Dedeaux Road, a home on Comanche Street and a free standing carport on Road 137. One commercial permit was issued for a new telecommunications tower on Highway 607 that is owned by the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund. Fees totaled $5,001. No valuation was listed on the report.

Bay St. Louis issued one residential permit during the week of Feb. 26-March 2 for a single family residence on Helen Drive. Valuation was $251,449 and fees totaled $1,904.
