Building permit report: houses & sheds

Hancock County’s Building Department issued 10 permits totaling $745,179 in value and $3,627 in fees from March 30 through April 8.

The nine residential permits were for a house and a shed on Bayou Coco Point, a house on West Gulf Road, a shed on Hoda Road, a house on Highway 603, a spec house on Fenton Dedeaux Road, a shed on Road 221, an addition to a storage building on Highway 43 and a storage building on Lower Bay Road.

The one commercial permit was for Polychemie Inc.’s installation of a temporary guard/scale house on Port & Harbor Drive. No value was listed; the fee was $101.
