Building permit report: hay barn, pole barn & a pool

Hancock County’s Building Department issued 13 permits during the week of April 16-20. Three were for commercial projects and 10 were for residential work. The total valuation was $410,093 and fees totaled $2,351.

The commercial permits were for the following:

•a sign cabinet and letters on an ATM canopy for Hancock Whitney Bank at 16230 Mississippi 603. Value was $3,500 and fees were $29.

•a 40 X 40  stage at an RV park at 27550 V Bar Road. The value was $15,000 and fees were $136. Owner is Brandon Necaise.

•general maintenance work on a cell tower at 10040 Wehie Camp Road. Value was $1,500 and fees were $19. Owner is American Tower Corp.

The county’s residential permits were for a new house on Lee’s Lane, a carport on  Road 266; a storage building on Lake Vista Drive, a gazebo on Road 317, a shed under a house on East Choctaw, a pole barn on Road 504, a gunite pool on East Pointe, a hay barn on Road 340, a garage on Crescent Ridge Drive and demolition of a house to build a new one on Dolph Kellar Drive.

Bay St. Louis issued one permit during the week for a new house on Cedar Lane. Valuation was $228,475 and fees were $1,743.
