I was talking with my dentist recently about restaurants and was reminded of the glorious hamburger at Patois in New Orleans. Now I can’t stop thinking about it. Nothing quite like a delicious burger. Any suggestions?

Then on Friday, the Southern Rail Commission will meet at 9 a.m. at the Longfellow/Old Town Civic Center (122 Court St.) in Bay St. Louis. The commission will have several important updates on the proposed Gulf Coast rail service between Mobile and New Orleans. Rail passengers and supporters are encouraged to attend.
At Saturday’s Witches Walk, we saw witches on golf carts & bikes & in shops & out, on balconies & steps, in shrimp boots & sandals. They were everywhere and everyone was having fun. Even the lone warlock we ran across. Pointy hats off to the organizers! Well done!
