Building permit report: $1/2M for 7 projects

The Hancock County Building Department issued seven permits during the week of June 11-15. Total valuation was $555,459 and fees were $2,875.

Two permits were for commercial projects, including repairs to an existing building due to water damage at 5675 Highway 53. The second commercial permit was for installing nine of 47 new RV camp sites at an existing park at 3200 LaFrance Drive. Owner is William Cates. Valuation was $15,000 with fees of $236.

The residential permits were for a new metal car port on Highway 603, a new house on St. Teresa Drive, a new house on Road 528, an addition to a house on Dogpatch Road and rebuilding a house due to fire on Piute Drive.
