Couple of new places in the area now open:

Red Creek Off Road RV Park & Red Creek Off Road Kitchen are now permitted by the state Health Department. Location is 1290 Vestry Road, Perkinston.

Menu: hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, fries, chips, candy bars, sodas and water.

Here’s the deal: “This is an 1,100-acre property with trails, lots of mud and ponds for folks to ride their RVs and big trucks through and they have concerts and three-day weekend events.” The RV Park has 100 sites with full bathroom facilities and wastewater dumping stations.
