This just in: Old Cuevas Bistro at 111 Main St. will open Tuesday for dinner. The restaurant will be open for dinner only for the first couple of weeks. More details soon.

The health department also gave the OK for Beacon Theatres to serve popcorn, pizza and nachos at its 310 Highway 90 location in Waveland.

Really looking forward to checking out Old Cuevas Bistro in its new location. Hopefully it won’t be as loud as the old location. I never left the old location without a headache from having to scream to be heard by my table mates.
