If you or someone you know must get in the water, consider this option:
Dr. Martinolich (sp), when he was our g.p., used to haul all us kids in at the beginning of summer and give us tetanus AND typhoid shots. I hope I’m not dreaming this. He worried about our open ditches draining into the Sound, and he knew we’d be swimming in and swallowing it anyway. Has there ever been a better family doctor? I got my first polio vaccine from him.
