The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality announced this morning the water contact advisory at Buccaneer State Park has been lifted. Four other stations are still under the advisories issued April 2.

The advisory has been lifted for:

►Station 2 — Buccaneer State Park Beach — from 100 yards west of sign eastward to 100 yards east of sign.

These stations remain under an advisory:

►Station 3 – Waveland Beach – from Oak Boulevard to Favre Street.

►Station 4 — Bay St. Louis Beach — from Box Culvert eastward to Ballantine Street.

►Station 5 — Pass Christian West Beach — Fort Henry Avenue to Elliot Street.

►Station 10 — Gulfport Central Beach — from Alfonso Drive to Arkansas Avenue.
