Lil Joe’s Restaurant across from the Depot closed Sunday (Oct. 9) after three years in business.

In a note taped to the door, the Dedeaux family and staff thanked their customers and said the adjacent Lil Joe’s Bar “will continue to be open and will be expanding.” (Will that sign on the roof come down, please?)

Meanwhile, another sign posted back in the summer in an empty space down from Lil Joe’s announced that The Bottletree House will be opening there. Doesn’t look like any activity is under way but I’m told it’s a retail shop that will sell jewelry, gifts and women’s accessories.
