Six permits were issued for the week of Sept. 25-30. Their total value was $231,993 and fees totaled $1,461.

Five residential permits were issued for construction of a new home on South Beach, a permit renewal for a house on West Hinds, a new metal building on Rocky Hill Dedeaux Road, a barn with three horse stalls on Hardie Street and a cinder block house on Copiah Street.

The one commercial permit was for the build-out of two existing suites for a dance studio in a strip mall on Kapalama Road. That value was $20,000 and fees were $261. David Dreher is the owner.
