New restaurants, locations & menus

Here’s the latest on restaurant openings/moves/etc. from the folks at the state Health Department.

Good Karma has relocated in Gulfport to 2346 E Pass Road. Owner Maheswari Berg’s menu features 100% vegetarian vegan and gluten-free options including an allergy-friendly Malaysian Ramen Noodle plate, homemade Indian Samosas, Dahl, Naan, green salad, basmati rice, vegetable subji, authentic chutney, Papadam bean chip, Yogi oat cookie and herbal tea.

Chef Scott’s Sushi Restaurant also has a new location at 1314 Government St. in Ocean Springs. The menu is the same for now but more items will be added thanks to a larger kitchen in the new location.
 
There are a couple of new places open in Moss Point. NT’s Cajun Seafood is located at 3916 Highway 63. The menu includes po-boys, burgers, wraps, shrimp, oyster, catfish and chicken strip platters, chicken wings, shrimp, chicken, pork, or beef on a stick, Cajun fries, cole slaw, hush puppies, salad, gumbo, turkey necks, boiled shrimp, crawfish and crabs. Asian food menu includes steamed rice, fried rice, Lo mein, Teriyaki chicken wings, egg rolls and stir fry mixed veggies. Owners are Thauan Banh and NhaTran.

Also new in Moss Point is Yummy Donut and Breakfast at 8021 Highway 613 serving donuts, croissants, kolaches, biscuits and breakfast burritos.
 
Grinders Café at 168 Cowart St. in Lucedale is open. The menu features coffees, teas, hot chocolate, soups, salads, deli style sandwiches and gourmet desserts.Buddy Bobinger is the owner.

Gwen’s Place on 5103 Ballpark Road in Vancleave cooks up chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fried fish baskets, country fried steak, hamburger steak and turkey breast bites.
