OCEAN SPRINGS Craving fried chicken and catfish? Want it delivered? You’re in luck if you live in and around Ocean Springs.

The brand new Funky Chicken (720 Bellande Ave.) is an all-delivery and carryout restaurant that also serves Gulf shrimp plus homemade beans, potato salad, coleslaw and mashed potatoes and gravy.

The Funky Chicken delivers in the entire Ocean Springs, St. Martin and Latimer area so customers can get their chicken fix when and where they want it.

Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Closed Sundays.

The Funky Chicken opened Monday and the owners report they sold out of catfish on the first couple of days. The restaurant owners are Jeremy Robinson and Scott Ramsey.
