Cooked to order, since 1955

Remember after Katrina when Waffle House was the first restaurant to rebuilt on Highway 90 in Harrison County?

Well, they’re still adding locations. The state Health Department says it’s given its approval for a Waffle House at 3810 25th Ave. in Gulfport to open.

Let’s all recite the menu: waffles, omelets, steak & eggs, pork chops & eggs, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, coffee and much more.

  1. Lisa,
Patricia and I remember that Waffle House was the beacon of post-Katrina hope when it re-opened near Courthouse. What is interesting about the new one on 25th is that it has led to the closing of the one on 49 near Airport Road. I’ve never seen a Waffle House close down until now.
