Sorry I missed last night’s workshop but did watch on Facebook Live replay as the council president demanded the live streaming be turned off before the workshop began. Hmm.
The issue of live streaming will be first up on the agenda tonight. If you can’t attend, get on Facebook Live, go to the City of Bay St. Louis page and watch the proceedings as they happen, presuming live streaming will resume. Or you can watch later. The previously recorded videos are there to watch and share with others. Check out the one from last night.
I thought that the agenda was supposed to inform the public about the business to be discussed. There was no mention of the One Way proposal for Court Street in the advertised agenda, but I understand that it was taken up and passed. I had attended the meeting prior to this one because it was on the agenda and it was tabled. It’s not that I agree or disagree, I just feel duped by the Council bringing up and acting on a subject not on the agenda. Didn’t we go through this a while back with the property near the railroad? Isn’t the agenda supposed to reflect what is brought up at the meeting?
Vicki,
Court Street was discussed during the engineer’s report but there was no vote.
